Who is SPSDG?

4681460753_2245d340c8We are you, Scottish Public Sector Digital Group. We are people working in Scottish public services who are passionate about digital. We want public services to use digital tools in better ways to provide services, work better together, develop professionally and to move with the times. Won’t you join us?

This is a group with no real heirarchy, just some community managers in Lesley Thomson (@lelil), Rowan Smith (@thisisrowan), Leah Lockhart (@LockhartL) and Sally Kerr (@weebletherer.) We meet online in Knowledge Hub (registration required) and LinkedIn (request to join group), chat on Twitter using #SPSDG and through this blog. We organise and help organise face to face events and we have some good ones up our sleeves for 2013. We share stacks of good information, guidance, updates and practice on all our channels so please keep an eye on what we’re up to.

If you want to help grow the movement and discussion around digital in Scottish public services join our online groups, tweet us using #SPSDG and consider writing a guest blog post. You’re welcome!
